Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Pinpi collects through this website and how that information is used.
Information we collect
When you join the beta waitlist, we collect your email address, where on the site you signed up, the platform you asked about (iPhone or Android), the device type reported by your browser (iPhone, Android, or desktop), the referral source (a ref parameter on the link, or the page that sent you here), and the date and time of signup. Our hosting and email providers may also process limited technical information, such as IP addresses and delivery logs, to operate, secure, and troubleshoot their services.
How we use information
We use your email address to confirm your signup, send the iPhone beta link or the Android waitlist note you asked for, contact you about beta access, share meaningful product updates, prevent abuse, and improve the waitlist. Platform, device, and referral source tell us which note to send and where signups come from.
Service providers
Pinpi uses service providers to host the website, store waitlist records, and deliver email. Resend processes recipient addresses, message content, and delivery information on our behalf. These providers process information under their own agreements and privacy commitments.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect Pinpi or others, or as part of a business transfer.
Cookies and analytics
We use PostHog to measure page views, clicks on the TestFlight link, and successful waitlist submissions. These events include the page path, button or form location, device type, and selected platform. We do not send email addresses, form contents, or URL query strings to PostHog. Analytics uses a temporary identifier held in memory, with no persistent analytics cookies or browser storage and no session recording. PostHog receives technical network information such as your IP address when events are sent. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We do not use advertising cookies. Essential technical processes used by our hosting providers may still be necessary to deliver and secure the site.
Retention
We keep waitlist information while the beta is active and for as long as reasonably needed to operate Pinpi, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may ask us to delete your waitlist information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing howdy@pinpi.io. You can opt out of product emails by using the unsubscribe option included in those messages or by contacting us.
Children
The waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Pinpi changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use waitlist information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
